Teachers

None of our work exists in isolation—it is built on the generosity, wisdom, and mentorship of those who have walked with us and taught us along the way.

My parents, friends, and family

The original teachers. You’ve held me through the messy parts, believed in me when I doubted myself, and reminded me who I am when I forgot. Your love, patience, humor, and reality checks have shaped both the clinician and the human I am today.

University of Ottawa – RN Program

This is where I learned how to think like a nurse: critically, compassionately, and under pressure. The foundation of clinical skill, responsibility, and patient-centered care I gained here still guides every decision I make.

Athabasca University – Nurse Practitioner Program

This program taught me autonomy, discipline, and how to practice medicine with both rigor and humility. It sharpened my clinical reasoning while reinforcing the responsibility that comes with being a trusted provider in people’s lives.

University of Arizona – Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship

This fellowship deeply shaped my philosophy of care. It affirmed that science, tradition, prevention, and lifestyle medicine belong together—and that healing is about supporting the whole person, not just treating disease.

Therapsil – Psilocybin Therapy Program

Therapsil grounded psychedelic therapy in ethics, safety, and reverence. It reinforced the responsibility we carry when holding space for profound human experiences and the importance of humility in this work.

Polaris – Ketamine Assisted Therapy

Polaris offered a clinically solid and thoughtful approach to ketamine-assisted therapy. It emphasized safety, structure, and the importance of integration—reminding me that the medicine is only one part of the work.

Roots to Thrive brought heart, depth, and nervous-system awareness into ketamine therapy. It highlighted the importance of relational safety, meaning-making, and honoring each person’s inner healing intelligence.

My Patients

You are my greatest teachers. Your courage, honesty, resilience, and vulnerability continually shape how I practice. I am endlessly grateful for the trust you place in me and for everything you show me about what healing really means.
